Fooled and Foiled

07 Jan

I retreat to the kitchen while Mister finishes his lunch for a much-needed indulgence. And when I eat it in there, I don’t have to share.

I dig through the leftover Halloween candy. Pickings are slim these days. Deciding a Rice Krispie Treat will do the trick, I open the package.

“Mum has….Mum has…” Mister isn’t fooled. He hears the wrapper and wants in. I guess my not-sharing-by-eating-in-the-kitchen days are over.

What have you been using to fool yourself? What excuses are getting in the way of your writing? What is keeping you from being really successful?
