I plan the afternoon. Mister and I are going to the pool for his first time.  I get into my swimsuit while he naps.  He wakes up from his nap and has a snack.  As I get him in his trunks and swim shirt, we talk about the pool and everything he can do there.  He smiles even while I slather on the sunscreen. I throw some toys and his towel in a bag. I scoop everything up and go through my mental checklist again. We’re ready. Before we even reach the door, we hear the rumbles.  A summer storm has popped up.  No more pool.  Time to improvise.

How do you plan your writing?

Unfortunately, I’m not sure I’ve ever planned my writing. Probably why I’ve never been successful at it. That and using fragments for sentences. I think I just start writing and see where it takes me.
